Free entry, by pass only. Gates 11:00 AM · show 1:00 PM. Up to 4 people per registration, each with their own named pass. Ages 16+; under 16 only with a parent or guardian.
Retro Future India
Technomela is where tradition and technology share one stage. This year the theme is Retro Future India — a celebration of where we come from, and where we are going.
Technomela is Satyam Institutes' annual techno-cultural festival, and the third edition is back bigger, bolder and more exciting than ever. On 16 October, students from schools and colleges across Amritsar, Tarn Taran and nearby districts come to our campus on Ramtirath Road to compete, perform and create. They build working science models, clone a website against the clock, and take on bhangra, giddha, drama and the fashion ramp.
The day after, the campus turns into a concert ground as Armaan Bedil performs live, free for everyone with a pass.
Judged by appointed judges. Prizes and certificates for winners, and participation certificates for everyone who competes.
How to take part
Register online
Fill in the official registration form with your students' details and events by 10 October 2026. One entry per event per institution.
Bring the documents
Every participant brings their institution photo ID card and an authority letter signed and stamped by the Principal or HOD. The format is on the last page of the rule book.
Report on the day
In-person registration 8:00–9:45 AM at the counter. Inauguration at 10:00 AM sharp, then competitions as per the schedule given at the counter.
The venue
Satyam Institutes, Ramtirath Road, Amritsar, Punjab.
- 16 Oct: registration counter 8:00–9:45 AM; inauguration 10:00 AM.
- 17 Oct: concert gates open 11:00 AM; show starts 1:00 PM.
- Bus for institutions bringing 30 or more people on 16 Oct, from fixed pickup points: Hathi Gate, Golden Gate and the Bus Stand. Ask us when you register.
Key rules
- Competitions: bona fide students above 14 years; under-18s come with a faculty member.
- Only one participant or team per event from each institution.
- No phones, smartwatches or AI tools in competition areas.
- Concert: free, by named pass only, with the photo ID shown on the pass. Ages 16+; under 16 only with a parent or guardian.
- Alcohol, tobacco, drugs and weapons are banned on campus on both days.
FAQ
Is there a fee?
No. Taking part in the competitions is free, and so is the concert. You only need a pass.
Can individual students register?
Registrations come through your school or college: participants represent their institution and need its authority letter.
Does a competition registration get me into the concert?
No. The concert on 17 October needs its own free pass for every person. Get them on the Armaan Bedil page.
I lost my concert pass email.
Open My passes and sign in with the same email and a one-time code. Your admit cards are there.
Can I register for more than one competition?
Yes, but if two of your events clash in time you can take part in only one of them.
