Rules & regulations

Please read these before registering. By taking a pass you agree to all of them, and they are enforced at the gate.

Entry and passes
  • Entry is strictly by admit card. One admit card admits one person. No admit card, no entry.
  • Carry a printed or on-screen copy of your admit card along with a government photo ID. The name on the ID must match the name on the admit card.
  • Each admit card can be scanned once. Once it has been used, it cannot be used again by anyone else.
  • Passes are free and strictly non-transferable. They may not be sold, resold or exchanged for money. Any pass found being sold will be cancelled.
  • Gates open at 5:00 PM. The show begins at 7:00 PM. Latecomers may be held at the gate until a suitable break.
  • Seating and standing areas are unreserved and on a first-come basis.
Not allowed inside
  • Alcohol, and entry while under the influence of alcohol.
  • Smoking and tobacco in any form. The entire campus is a no-smoking zone.
  • Drugs and any banned or intoxicating substance.
  • Weapons of any kind, including knives, sharp objects, firearms and licensed arms.
  • Explosives, firecrackers, flares, sparklers and any inflammable material.
  • Laser pointers, drones and remote-controlled devices.
  • Professional cameras, video cameras, tripods and recording equipment without prior written permission.
  • Glass bottles, metal containers, cans and outside food or drink.
  • Helmets, bags and backpacks larger than a small handbag.
  • Pets and animals.
  • Banners, placards or material of a political, religious or offensive nature.
Bags are searched at the gate. Anything on this list will be confiscated and not returned. Refusing a search means refusing entry.
Conduct at the venue
  • The organisers reserve the right of admission. Entry may be refused without giving a reason.
  • Anyone creating a disturbance, behaving unruly, damaging property, or acting in a manner unsafe or offensive to others will be removed from the venue immediately, without refund or recourse, and their pass cancelled.
  • All persons and belongings are subject to search at the gate. Refusing a search means refusing entry.
  • Instructions of the organisers, volunteers, security and the police are to be followed at all times.
  • Ragging, harassment and misbehaviour of any kind will be reported to the authorities.
  • Re-entry is not permitted once you leave the venue.
  • Attendees are responsible for their own belongings. The organisers are not liable for loss, theft or damage.
  • By entering, you consent to being photographed or filmed, and to that footage being used by the organisers for promotion without payment.
Availability and changes
  • Passes are issued on a first-come, first-served basis and are subject to availability.
  • Registration closes as soon as all passes are issued, which may be well before the event.
  • The organisers may change the programme, timing, line-up or venue, or cancel the event, without prior notice.
  • Attending is at your own risk. Please tell us in advance if you have a medical condition that may need attention.
  • Children below 12 must be accompanied by a registered adult at all times.

Technomela 3.0 is the annual techno-cultural festival of Satyam Institutes, Ramtirath Road, Amritsar. This is the only official page issuing passes.

Free — never sold

Passes cost nothing and are non-transferable. Nobody is authorised to sell them. If you are asked for money for a pass, it is not genuine — please tell us.

Every pass is scanned

Each admit card carries its own QR code and is checked against a photo ID at the gate. A card works once, which is what keeps the hall within its safe capacity.
